Canowindra is central to some of Australia’s best cool climate Wineries & Cellar doors, and home to some of the most exceptional wine tasting experiences in NSW. From vineyard cellar doors to distinct historical buildings and vineyard art galleries, our vineyards are an enriching encounter. And that’s before you’ve taken a sip of some of the country’s most outstanding wines!

Warm days, cool nights and dry, late summers allow our vignerons to grow superior grape varieties. Their passion for perfection has resulted in many accolades, including “Best Red” in NSW and many other gold medals and trophies in Australia and overseas.

Today there are over 40 vineyards to explore, from Canowindra and Cowra, to Orange and Millthorpe.
Many offer boutique cellar door tastings, the chance to chat to local vignerons, see our winemakers at work and sample some of this country’s most promising wines.
